A CURATED EXPLORATION

A TASTE OF FIVE is an homage to natural wine made by women across different countries, regions, grape varieties and winemaking traditions. For the first edition in Rome, we hand the selection to one of natural wine’s most distinctive voices.

Rachel Signer curates five natural wines from five inspiring women producers.

Rachel Signer is a writer originally from the United States who has lived in South Australia and now resides in Italy. She is the founder of Pipette Magazine and the author of You Had Me at Pét-Nat (2021) and How to Drink Natural Wine (2026). She also made natural wine in Australia under the label Cleopatra Wines, formerly Persephone Wines.

The Caribbean Housewife creates a five-course tasting menu around Rachel’s selection, pairing our Caribbean and Latin American cuisine with five natural wines chosen for their character, sense of place and the women behind them.

The event takes place on Saturday, November 14, 2026 from 20:00 – 22:30. Rachel will join us throughout the evening to introduce the wines, their producers and the stories that led her to each bottle. The evening will be hosted in English and Italian.
