A DIFFERENT KIND OF EXPERIENCE

Natural wine is more than a beverage.
It’s a reflection of
artistry, culture, community,
tradition, time and place.
For A TASTE OF FIVE,
Jamain Brigitha curated
five distinctive natural wines,
each crafted by women producers,
who are redefining the industry.
These wines tell a story of
terroir and bold, hands-off winemaking.
Each bottle is a testament to
authenticity, craftsmanship, and vision.
A Curated Exploration
On Friday, February 14 and 15 during A TASTE OF FIVE, we host a special edition of the HOUSEWIFE ROAST with natural wine pairings from five inspiring women producers Heya Wines (Lebanon), Al di là del Fiume (Italy), Oda Family Winery (Georgia), Domaine Henri Naudin-Ferrand (France), and Vin De LaGamba (Germany).
A Commitment to Authenticity & Women in Wine
While these wines come from different regions, they share key qualities that make them stand out:
1. Minimal Intervention
Each winemaker embraces a philosophy of low-intervention winemaking, using wild yeasts, little to no additives, and minimal sulfur to let the grapes and terroir shine. These natural wines are raw, unfiltered, and alive—capturing the pure essence of the vineyard.
2. Created by Women Winemakers
All five wines are made by women pushing boundaries in a traditionally male-dominated field. From Lebanon to Georgia, Italy to Germany and France, these winemakers bring a fresh perspective, embracing both tradition and innovation.
3. Indigenous & Heritage Grapes
Rather than relying on international varieties, these winemakers champion grapes with deep cultural roots:
Merwah (Lebanon) – A historic Levantine white grape.
Albana, Montuni, Grecchetto Gentile (Italy) – Ancient varieties from Emilia-Romagna.
Dzelshavi (Georgia) – A rare Georgian red, bright and fresh.
Pinot Noir (France) – Classic, but made with a delicate, natural touch.
Dornfelder & Sylvaner (Germany) – A playful blend in a lively Pét Nat.
4. A Deep Sense of Place & Micro-Production
These wines are produced in small-batches and are deeply rooted in their distinctive terroir. From the rugged slopes of Qannoubine Valley in Lebanon to the volcanic soils of Emilia-Romagna, each bottle carries the signature of its landscape and its maker.
5. Thoughtful Textures & Styles
Texture plays as much of a role as taste. This selection moves from the structure of a still Merwah to the grip of a skin-contact white, the vibrancy of a bright red, and the delicate effervescence of a Pét Nat. These wines are meant to be felt as much as tasted.
Bold, Narrative-Driven & Experience-Focused
Bringing these wines together is not just about offering variety. It is about creating a unique and memorable experience. The selection is:
Focused on Women in Wine
Elevating winemakers who are shaping the future of natural wine.
Intentional & Narrative-Driven
The lineup is designed to take the drinker on an adventure, rather than just offering a random mix of bottles.
Texturally Conscious
Beyond flavors, these wines play with weight, acidity, tannins, and effervescence, creating a sensory experience that lingers.
Rooted in Exploration & Discovery
This is a selection for curious wine lovers—those who seek something beyond the familiar, who appreciate the unexpected, and who want to experience wine in its rawest, most authentic form.
A Champion of Artisanship
The focus is on small, independent producers who take risks, work sustainably, and let their vineyards dictate the wines rather than trends or market demands.
A TASTE OF FIVE is more than a wine pairing: it’s a bold statement and the gold standard of our natural wine selection.
This selection is an invitation to explore, challenge assumptions, and experience wine in a contemporary way.
It’s about celebrating women winemakers who stay true to their craft and offering a lineup that is as engaging, layered, and thought-provoking as the conversations it sparks and the cuisine of The Caribbean Housewife paired with it.
