Our vision for a magical place with a fantastic atmosphere and an inspiring community.

After being a nomad at temporary locations for 7 years, The Caribbean Housewife is ready to settle down. In 2024, it is time to have our own place, where it is possible to create a fantastic atmosphere and an inspiring community for loyal and new guests.
 
The Caribbean Housewife is moving to the historic Holms Gård building at Gammeltorv 14. The Holmhuset in Indre By was listed on the Danish register of listed buildings and places in 1926. At this remarkable location of 150 m2, we will have our own professional production kitchen for catering, convenience products, and take-away possibilities. Here, we can also host lunch and dinner events, masterclasses, and student visits at our own restaurant and event space The Caribbean Embassy.

In order to upgrade the kitchen and to create an exciting new event space in the start-up phase, we raised an amount of 28.570 kr with COOP Crowdfunding on April 2, 2024 with the support of 21 backers. The campaign ended on April 3, 2024. Thank you for supporting and believing in our project!
